The staff are always smiling and extremely pleasant and accommodating. Lots of wild life to see and hear turtles, frogs, variety of birds singing, raccoons, chipmunks, squirrels.

All around You just will not be disappointed. The park needs a good cleaning up. Trash was laying around in several areas shame on the campers. This park is a nightmare for a large rig.

Limbs need to be trimmed on roads and at sites. I booked a site for a unit over 32' and had a 2" limb about 20' from the entrance of my sight at a height of about 10'. Instead of workers driving around they should try to work at making this park the jewel it should be. Our RV is 40' long. MacGregor Point Provincial Park has nice large, treed sites.

The sites are spaced well apart. We camped in site and our friends camped in site These sites are intended for two families camping together. They are connected sites, but still a good size.

There are excellent bike trails at this Provincial Park. Electric only in one section of the campground. Most sites large; some sites pull-thru but curved. Need long electric power cord to reach electric post that is out by road and between you and your neighbor. We went head in to reach power post and we had a long cord.

Picnic table, fire ring at each site. Small beach reached from parking lot by boardwalk. Bike trails. Nice bushes between sites; some sites have more trees. Water faucets thru park do not have threads. Has dump station and good water near there. Kids in office were very afraid we wouldn't fit in site at 32 feet. Login Sign Up.

The beaches are sandy with large boulders. Change facilities are available in the day-use area. No lifeguards, water safety is your responsibility. Practicing social distancing is still essential. Only go to the beach if you are able to keep 6 feet or 2 meters away from others.

Follow the instructions provided by your local health authorities. If your community has asked that you remain indoors and away from others, do so. Ontario Parks samples beaches weekly from June to the end of August weather permitting. However, some Parks do not begin sampling until mid-June due to factors such as water temperature. Ontario Parks beaches are monitored according to the province's Beach Management Protocol. The Protocol says that authorities must check water quality at least weekly from June 1 to Labour Day at beaches where there are formal swimming programs or lifeguards.

Beaches are typically tested early in the week, on Monday or Tuesday. Samples are processed at provincial labs, processing times vary from park to park, depending on location. Beach postings may occur anytime during the bathing season. As part of the routine monitoring program of public beaches, beach postings may be required where exceedance of recreational water quality levels and other environmental data supports the need for posting.

Beaches are posted when the geometric mean of the samples collected exceeds E. If the recreational water quality at a swim site exceeds this standard it is given a RED current status in Swim Guide.

When water quality exceeds the recreational water quality standards, Ontario Parks posts alerts on their website. Beaches are also physically posted with a sign.

Ontario Parks re-samples water that has exceeded the standard as soon as possible. Swim Drink Fish enters water quality test results into Swim Guide according to the actual date the sample was taken. Each Ontario Park typically samples its beaches on the same day every week or month.

Ontario Parks has provided us with the sample collection schedule Mon-Sun for Ontario Parks' beaches they monitor. The water quality data for Ontario Parks is entered according to their sample collection schedule. Comfort stations include washroom facilities with flush toilets and hand washing facilities.

Showers and laundry facilities will not be available this season. Some comfort stations in the park may remain closed. Building capacity restrictions are in place. Some areas within the museum may remain temporarily closed. Please follow information signs posted at the park.

Picnic shelters are available for use rentals not available. They will not be regularly cleaned or disinfected. We ask that visitors come to the park prepared with sanitized wipes or table cloths, hand sanitizer, extra water and other supplies that you may need to protect yourself and others. Winter equipment rentals are available but operating at reduced capacity.

Vault privies include washroom facilities that may or may not include flush toilets and running water for hand washing.
