Not enough to keep me from going back, again. The desserts were outstanding! All of our main courses were delicious. The service was professional. Very good food and service with a nice range of options on the menu and a decent wine list.
We went for dinner with friends. Drinks were delicious, service excellent, food wonderful. Our visit was an annual stop on the way to the Coastal Virginia wine fest. What If is a must for our trip. The service is always outstanding and the food superb. Our server Donna was superb to say the least. She was there when we needed her but did not hover. Her cheerful manner and helpful attitude helped to make our evening a memorable event.
The meal truly exceeded expectations. We selected an appetizer special not on the menu. Southwestern Shrimp Cocktail. It was to die for. Four large boiled shrimp with a Southwestern shrimp salsa and tortilla chips. The lamb chop had to be seen to be believed. We're use to a chop being no more than an inch in thickness.
The chop was at least 2 inches in thickness and done to perfection. On outstanding meal to say the least. Having never met a female chef we asked to meet her.
Turned out that the chef was our servers daughter. Another surprise. Overall this had to be one of our most memorable ever. We would recommend What If for a relaxing and pleasant evening. Great meal.
I have had the Veal Osco Buco.. I have also ordered the Seafood Ciopinno Ago tuna was fantastic. Cool vibe. Excellent food and first rate service.
Their crab cakes and crab cocktail are the best. Service was great! Everyone at our table was happy! Chef-driven meals with excellent presentation, nice environment, good service, and reasonable prices. The service is appropriate for celebratory night. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Perfect New Years Eve anniversary dinner. We always have great food and service. But we sat for an hour and half be forgetting our food.
Three of us just got appetizers and the other got a salad. The waitress never stopped back to check on our drinks. She finally dropped by and gave us bread with dipping oil. We were very disappointed! Always a great place for fine food and great service. Holiday gathering of 8 went off smoothly and was enjoyed by all!
My wife and I took our moms to this restaurant for their first time. We are from Baltimore and every time we travel to Hershey we go to What If. It has never disappointed us and we have loved every food dish we have ever tried from there. Our moms loved it as much as we do!!
