Oswald drew up his cape, and looked ready to stall, maybe by asking what Jack meant. Jack watched Vincent disappear, back into the castle, knowing with each minute that ticked by, the boy was closer to disappearing forever. Jack doesn't hear Lacie's last thoughts. He still thinks Lacie can be saved alive from Abyss Leo and Elliot are roommates at Lutwidge Academy, and while things don't start off so great between them, they both find something they've been looking for in each other. For Leo, it's the inspiration he needs to write a new fanfic.
And for Elliot it's an actual a transfer student who has absolutely no interest in his family ties who also shares his love of playing the piano and the Holy Knight series. And as the year goes by, they continue to grow closer and find in each other exactly they've been missing all along. He didn't care that the other was a Vessalius, sworn enemy of the Nightray household.
The history and legacy of that last name doesn't define who his lover is as a person. But after that day, things started to change and their relationship slowly started to crumble.

But given A century before, in Sablier, a forbidden portal was flung wide by a boy, Vincent, in his single-minded desire to protect his brother, Gilbert.
And thus did that foolhardy desire lead to the corruption of that innocent boy's soul like a sweet poison Now, as Gil, Oz, and Alice wander the ruins of the former capital, they are assaulted by illusion Jun Mochizuki - Feb 20, first published in The snow-white maiden encountered once upon a time in the depths of the Abyss by the clown christened the Red-Eyed Specter…who was she really? She has shapely legs, which Jun Mochizuki herself said was one of Alice's defining features.
Alice is also quite short and is noted to have chubby cheeks. While her twin sister bore a strong resemblance to their father Levi, Alice exhibited a striking resemblance to their mother, Lacie, in her youth. Like Lacie, she wore dark dresses with matching dress shoes. When her sister, Intention of the Abyss, was in control of her body, she wore light-colored dresses.
Alice's goal is to find her lost memories, which plays a major role in the story. Alice appears to be wild, rough, cold, sometimes reckless, somewhat tomboyish and rude at the start — opposite with her twin sister the Intention of the Abyss, who's more light and feminine—, especially to Gilbert. She is hotheaded and loud and says what she thinks without any regard for the consequences.
Due to her short temper, she is energetically aggressive with people in general. Despite this, she also has a soft side, especially when she is around Oz. She hates when Oz leaves her alone, but to hide it, she usually mentions that he is her manservant and shouldn't leave her behind.
Alice is also known to be quite arrogant in battle, and she places much confidence in her abilities. During an arm-wrestling competition against a rival almost twice her size who is capable of seriously injuring her, her arrogance almost backfires; luckily, she was which she able to use her powers at the last second because of Gilbert's intervention.
Alice is very convinced of her feelings, and most of her actions reflect the emotions she feels. She is also very perceptive of others' emotions, and tries to cheer them up in her own way. She used to be very abrasive, but she is shown to be kind, honest, and sweet. She has a huge appetite and especially loves meat. Now that the relentless cogs of fate have begun to turn, do they lead only to crushing despair for Oz, or is there some shred of hope for him to grasp on to?
However, what begins as a simple investigation becomes the revelation of a harsher reality, which comes swooping down on Oz as the hands of the clock continue ticking away mercilessly…. But during a trip into town with Gil and Alice, an unexpected encounter leads Oz down memory lane…For Oz, however, the path is one covered with the most menacing of thorns.
And lying in wait to assail him there…the baleful eye of his father the the echoes of cursed words Oz would much rather forget…. As Oz Vessalius and his valet, Gilbert, are reunited with their dear Uncle Oscar, they fail to notice an alienated Alice lost in thought stumbling right into the lurking Xerxes Break.
There he stumbles upon the devastating tragedy of Sablier, the century-old disaster that sent the old capital into the Abyss, an incident of which no one has any recollection…except Alice — who was there?! When Oz discovers the truth of the memories Alice so desperately wants to forget, the powers of the B-Rabbit spiral out of control and threaten the lives of all who are trapped within the dreamlike dimension, including Alice herself….
But some carefree fun and a tearful reunion ten years in the making is not all for which Oz must prepare himself: crimson-cloaked foes are lying in wait to torture him for answers about the events of a hundred years ago…. Indeed, with his own body playing host to Jack Vessalius, the hero of Sablier, the likelihood of Oz escaping the past seems nigh impossible.
But given a renewed lease on life by Elliot Nightray — the legitimate heir to the Nightray dukedom, of all people — Oz is eager to keep moving forward by learning all that he can about the events that came to pass all those years ago. To this end, he and his friends seek an audience with another of the four great dukes — Duke Rufus Barma.
